About Probably 3D Printing

One printer. One queer person. A lot of filament.

I run a 3D printer in Rochester, NY, and I make pride-themed goods: bricks, ornaments, keychains, and whatever I dream up next. Everything is made to order, inspected by hand, and shipped from my studio. The name is literal. At any given moment, a printer is probably running.

How it started

A pride brick on a sales counter.

My partner started Rainbow Cammo, where he makes beautiful handcrafted soap and other bath and body products. I began 3D printing small pride-themed items for his shop. Display pieces, counter accents, little things to round out a market table. People loved them.

The inconspicuous pride brick sitting on the sales counter got more questions than anything else. So I kept going. What started as a hobby turned into Probably 3D Printing.

What I'm building

Pride-themed objects, made well.

I want to explore pride-themed products as a way to develop my skills. Sometimes that means perfecting print quality. Sometimes it means custom design work in CAD, or learning more about post-processing and finishing. Sometimes it means using my software engineering background to incorporate something unexpected into the process.

The Pride Brick is the flagship: a full-scale masonry brick replica printed in pride flag colors. It will not be the only thing. I am always working on the next idea.

How it works

Made to order, finished by hand.

Each product is designed in-house and printed on consumer-grade FDM printers using PLA filament. Multi-color printing layers each stripe of a flag in sequence, producing a solid, durable piece with vibrant colors that won't fade or peel.

Everything is made to order. Each piece is inspected and finished by hand before it ships. No warehouse, no middleman. Just a printer, some filament, and a lot of patience.

What's next

More flags. More objects. More experiments.

Hopefully the work I do here creates unique items people will enjoy, while also feeding my filament habit. I am always experimenting with new designs, new flags, and new product ideas. If you have a suggestion or just want to say hi, I would love to hear from you.
