Rochester, NY

Built for the people right next door.

Probably 3D Printing is one printer, one queer person, and a lot of attention, all running out of a small Rochester studio. The people who show up at local pride events, who keep neighborhood mutual aid going, who organize the picnics and the protests: those are the people this work is for.

We are always paying attention.

There is no off-season for showing up. Between named campaigns, the everyday work continues: printing for neighbors, donating pieces to local fundraisers, sending people toward the orgs already doing the heavy lifting. The Rochester queer community is small enough to know one another and big enough to take care of one another. We try to act like it.

Ways to be part of this

  • Buy a brick or a small thing. Each order keeps the printers running and the lights on.
  • Send a tip about a local org or event. Rochester-area work that should be amplified, supported, or spotlighted here.
  • Pitch a collaboration. Custom pieces for a fundraiser, an event giveaway, or a project that needs a maker on the team.
  • Share what you make of it. Tag a photo, send a note, tell a friend. Word of mouth is how a one-person studio survives.
